Today, something really amazing happened. A wedding invite project I did as part of styled photo shoot was featured on Style Me Pretty today! What wonderful news, what a great excuse to get up and do a little dance. It's always been one of my goals to have my work be featured on such a site. After all, I have the wedding brain and it is the site that people go to for wedding inspirations!
The shoot ended up being more beautiful than I could have imagined. It was styled by the very talented Erin Souder from House of Earnest and captured by Ben from Benjamin Lowry Photography. I have known Erin for a while now, when I first came across her interior design blog I connected with her design taste immediately. And then to find out that she's local to Columbus was just...a relief because it was hard for me to discover other creative people in the beginning!
Erin asked me to design the wedding invites for this copper-inspired wedding shoot that was shot at the Topiary park in Columbus. I jumped on it immediately because I knew our tastes would compliment well together. The suite includes the invite, RSVP card, their corresponding hand-lettered envelopes, a menu card and guest name tags. It brings some soft peaches and mint greens to the setting, while tying together the warm copper tones in the rest of the decor. And can I just say, Ben is such a talented photographer! If only our wedding was in Columbus, I would have loved for him to capture our special day.
So today, I'm sharing with you guys some of the shots from the day, but you should head on over to Style Me Pretty for the full post!
Leaving the day on a high note, hope you guys are as well!
