Today I wanted to share a recent photo shoot of my art prints with you guys. I've been wanting to photograph my art prints in a home for a while now...I think it is important to give customers a point of reference and show how one can decorate their house with different prints. When I first met Christa from Christa Kimble Photography and mentioned this idea to her, she suggested using her house as a backdrop. And she was definitely right, her recently renovated home was a fantastic place to photograph my work in!
So last week, Christa, Danielle from Marmalade Bleue and I spent an afternoon styling and shooting together. The lighting that day was unreal, it was the prettiest spring day of this year! Christa worked her photography magic, while Danielle and I helped pick out beautiful props and styled the shoot. In the end, I am blown away with how beautiful these photographs turned out! It also didn't hurt that we all had such a blast time working together. Going into my very first photo shoot, I was a bit nervous. I didn't know how much to prepare for or to bring, but looking back, it was really a breeze when you work with the right people!
I truly appreciate opportunities where I can work with others, especially when working for myself can get quite lonely sometimes. Getting outside of my comfort zone and doing something new like this is always a good thing!
