It's almost time for Easter again! I love making these Pysanky eggs from time to time, and Easter is always the best excuse to hunker down and dye some fabulously colorful eggs. In case you dont know what Pysanky eggs are, they are a Ukrainian tradition that uses a wax batik technique decorate the eggs. Stay tuned for Monday's post at The Alison Show for a DIY on how to make these lovely guys! Until then, you can purchase some of these eggs in my Etsy shop. There's only a limited number of them for sale, so get them while you can!

I had my friend, Jeffry Konczal, help me photo shoot these eggs yesterday. He's really talented and did an awesome job! Being relatively new to this industry, I'm learning so much about how important of a role photography plays. I attended a webinar on the Alt Channel last night (it's a great way to learn about the blogging sphere and to meet peeps!) with House of Brinson that talked about photography and image copyrights. It was so interesting to hear just how much work and people goes into production of an image. Mad respect for photographers!

Happy Friday y'all!
