This painting has many inspirations- but the main one here is music. Yao was imagining an endless meadow swaying in the wind- a symphony of the sounds of nature in the background, orchestrating this grand performance! Another inspiration comes from years of painting her first children's book (coming in 2027). Those artworks sparked her imagination to create worlds that are brimmed with detail.
