"Rotation in Rainbow" is the centerpiece of the Radial series. It combines Yao's watercolor cirlces with shifting colors and her love for every color that there is. She was thinking about the poetic meaning of a circle- how it loops endlessly around, changing as it goes. You can view it as a color chart, or as a place to take a momentary break from your day. Every circle was painted by hand and not digitized. Each one was carefully laid down before the next translucent one to create a unique shift in color.
