Yao’s classes are for all beginners.  Over the course of an afternoon, Yao will share her favorites tips and techniques for modern watercolor. Her workshops allow you to explore this medium in a new way, whether you are looking for a new hobby or want to improve your painting skills.  At it's core, Yao loves watercolor for its meditative, intuitive experience.  Yao focuses on working with you one-on-one and meets you at your own skill level.  By the end, you will gain a new confidence in painting and see how much fun watercolor can be!

All of Yao’s workshops include practice sheets, mounted boards for a finished painting, reference materials, fresh flowers, and the option of a take-home painting kit.  The kit includes high-quality supplies that Yao recommends to every beginner for an enjoyable experience of what this medium can achieve, and even comes with a beautiful tote!

Light refreshments will be provided.  A week prior to the workshop, we will send you a reminder for the event and travel details.

**Classes are non-refundable and require a minimum of 6 students for attendance! In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a full-refund 1 week prior to the workshop date.
